Our Site
Our site is affiliated to ‘Sanctuary Camping Club’, supported by Natural England. By booking to stay you automatically become a Free Sanctuary Club member – for full details of the club please visit https://www.sanctuarycampingclub.co.uk.
There will be no more than 5 Caravan/Motorhome units, along with up to 10 tents on the adjacent grassed area at any time, at the time of writing this (July 23), the tent pitches are not available but will be added soon. Craig Nos is an adults only site however well behaved dogs (restricted to 2 per pitch) are most welcome. Pitch fees include your unit, awning, car or towing vehicle and up to 2 adults (additional guests are welcome in your unit subject to an additional charge, please email us with details prior to arriving). Please see below regarding EHU usage.
Allocated Pitches
When you make a booking you will be selecting a specific pitch, please ensure you pitch up on the correct one on arrival, confirmation of your pitch number will be on your booking confirmation email.
Electric Hook Ups
Please ensure you only connect to one EHU during your stay. Any outfits using two EHUs will be charged for two pitch costs for the duration of the stay. We request that you do not use electric heaters in awnings.
We operate an honesty system for electric usage and respectfully request that guests do not abuse this. For each night we will include 15 units of electricity, as an average across your stay. Any additional units will be charged at 26.5p p/kwh (equivalent to the amount charged to us).
Payment can be left in cash in the postbox on site in a name envelope or bag, please ensure you provide your surname & pitch so we can tie your payment up. Obviously, if your readings are below an average of 8 units per night then no payment is due. Full instructions on how to do this will be emailed closer to your arrival date.
Electric/Hybrid Car Charging
Please note we do not allow for the charging of Electric or Hybrid cars on site. The nearest charging point is Tescos Supermarket, Sheringham. Anyone found charging their car will be charged an additional £20 per night for the duration of their stay.
Our Season
We are usually open all year round. Please try to avoid visiting and departing in snowy conditions as access to and from our site can be un-passable.
Pitches
All of our pitches are shingled hard stands, spacious and can accommodate any size of caravan or motor-home. There are closely located 16 amp 240 volt electric hook-up points (limited use included in the pitch fee), twin fresh water taps and a grey water drain. You also have access to Free WiFi whilst on site.
Ground Sheets / Tents
Only breathable groundsheets will be permitted. Tents on the caravan pitches are not permitted, tents have a designated area.
Additional Guests
Extra visiting “day visitors” are welcome but please be reasonable and additional guests must not spoil the atmosphere for other on-site guests. No ‘parties’ or large barbeques are allowed on site and visitors must abide by site rules, ie Adults only and dogs on leads etc. If the extra guest(s) wishes to stay on site in your unit a contribution of £2.50 per night is requested for extra services used.
Dogs
A maximum of two dogs will be permitted per pitch. These must at all times be under control and on a lead. Dogs must not foul the site area and owners must clear up after their dog at all times.
Cancellations / Refunds
We would appreciate confirmation of cancellation as early as possible and this must be by email to enquiries@craignos.co.uk. Deposits are non refundable, however a refund for the “remaining balance” will apply if contact is made via email at enquiries@craignos.co.uk outside of 14 days of your booked arrival date, cancellations within the 14 days leading up to your arrival date will not be refunded.
Arrival / Departure Times
Arrival time is not before 1.00 pm and departure time is no later than 11.00 am. You may arrive earlier and depart later subject to availability & prior arrangement via email at enquiries@craignos.co.uk. The latest arrival time is 9.00pm. We respectfully request no arrivals after this time so as not to disturb other guests.
Payment
All bookings are to be made via our website, the deposit is due at the time of booking, the balance 1 month before arrival. Payment in cash on arrival is only possible subject to prior arrangement.
